How to Set Up an AI Crypto Trading Agent in TRUE
Choose a strategy, define its budget and permissions, review the draft, and activate it from Agent Studio.

Choose what you want to automate
Start in Agent Studio. Autopilot monitors markets and makes decisions within its available configuration; a rule-based strategy acts when a specified condition is met. A recurring Jupiter purchase is a separate scheduled order. Choose the workflow that matches the job you actually want done.
Write down the asset or eligible universe, total allocation, action size, risk profile and stopping condition before configuring the agent. An amount allocated to a strategy is not a maximum-loss guarantee.
Review a draft before funding
- Open Agent Studio and choose the available agent or strategy flow.
- Set its budget and risk configuration. Read any account-specific limits.
- Review the draft, including token identity, units, repeated-trigger behavior and permissions.
- Complete the funding and authorization steps shown in TRUE.
- Confirm that the agent is active and inspect its first activity record.
A draft created through MCP is still a draft. The MCP Autopilot tool currently accepts a $50–$10,000 allocation; the app may expose different limits or workflows. The activation screen is the reference for your account.
A draft-only example
Example configuration: a spot Autopilot named Review example, a balanced risk profile and a $100 allocation. This demonstrates the fields; it is not a recommendation to fund that strategy or a forecast of its results.
Use the downloadable MCP examples to inspect the request structure. Creating the draft should leave it inactive. Do not treat a successful creation response as confirmation that funds moved.
Check the first execution
Compare the asset, trigger, amount, fill, fees and remaining allocation with your intention. A skipped trade or failed action needs a reason; do not solve it by increasing limits before you understand the failure.
Review existing exposure after pausing. The stop action prevents new positions; it does not automatically close positions already held. External recurring orders must be cancelled separately. Read the permissions guide before granting standing authorization.
