How to get started

  1. 01

    Connect TRUE

    Use the app’s current MCP instructions to add the server to a compatible client.

  2. 02

    Authenticate and test

    Enable the connection and try a read-only market or balance query.

  3. 03

    Make a clear request

    For an action, specify the asset, size and order type. Review the approval in TRUE.

  4. 04

    Verify completion

    Follow the same request to its final status. Check the app’s activity before retrying.

What to keep in view

Every MCP perpetual order needs app approval. Small spot trades may auto-approve under your configured threshold. Agent drafts still need funding and activation in TRUE.

Costs and limits

Never share private keys or seed phrases with an assistant. Disconnecting MCP does not cancel existing positions, agents or recurring orders.

Connect, verify, then choose a workflow

The remote endpoint is https://app.truefinance.ai/api/v1/mcp. Start with the dedicated Claude setup guide or ChatGPT setup guide. Authenticate your own account and verify a read-only price or market-list request before requesting an action.

TRUE tools can expose research, balances, positions, spot orders, perpetual orders, recurring purchases and agent drafts. Tool availability and account permissions determine what your assistant can actually do.

Inspect an example before executing

Our MCP examples library includes read-only prompts, a draft Autopilot request and an explicitly labelled recurring-order example. Downloads contain no credentials and run nothing by themselves.

Every MCP perpetual order requires approval in TRUE. A small spot order can use a threshold you configured. Agent creation produces a draft until you fund and activate it. Check final execution status before treating a request as complete.
