Compare
TRUE and Cryptohopper
Cryptohopper is rule-based trading bots. TRUE is an agentic trading platform for crypto and tokenised assets. They overlap, and where they do not is the useful part of this page. Everything written below about Cryptohopper comes from Cryptohopper's own public website, read on 2026-10-30, and is quoted or paraphrased from it. Where their site does not say something, this page says so rather than guessing. If anything here is wrong or has changed, tell us and it is corrected. The short version: if the only thing you trade is covered by Cryptohopper, stay. TRUE is for the account that has to cover the next thing too.
What Cryptohopper is for
Cryptohopper describes itself as rule-based trading bots, and its own headline reads: “The world's most customizable crypto trading bot”. On its site it names automated trading bots, a Copy Bot that mirrors a single seasoned trader, a strategy marketplace, multiple exchange accounts in one terminal and iOS and Android apps. What you can trade there is whatever your connected exchanges list. That is a coherent product with a clear job, and for the person who wants exactly that job done, it is a good answer. This page is not an argument that Cryptohopper is bad at what it does.
Where it stops
On cryptohopper.com as read on 2026-10-30, these are not stated: API key handling, custody model and KYC policy. Not stated is not the same as not offered. It means their public site does not claim it, so this page does not claim it either, in either direction. If you need one of those, check with Cryptohopper directly rather than taking this page's word for it.
What TRUE adds
The research layer runs on a model built for financial data and public on-chain trading activity, not a general chatbot with a crypto prompt.
- Autopilot, an autonomous agent that trades 24 hours a day inside a budget and risk limits you set
- Agent Studio, so you can build and configure your own agent without writing code
- perpetual futures on TRUE's own engine, with take profit and stop loss set at entry
- spot swaps and cross-chain bridging on Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base
- memecoins on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain
- tokenised stocks, gold, silver, treasuries and FX, issued by third parties and not shares
- copy trading that sizes every copied trade to your own budget
- a research layer: deep research, claim check, catalyst radar, funding and open interest, whale and smart money flow and a liquidation map
- the TRUE AI Card, funded from your TRUE balance
- an MCP connector, so ChatGPT and Claude can read your TRUE account and act on it with your permission
Side by side
TRUE's side of the table, in full. The Cryptohopper column is deliberately not reproduced here as a grid of ticks, because a tick is a claim and every claim about another company on this site carries a quote and a date. What Cryptohopper states is in the two sections above, in their own words.

When to pick Cryptohopper instead
You want a deep, configurable rule engine and a marketplace of strategies on top of exchanges you already use. Cryptohopper has more knobs than most and that is the point of it. There is no version of this page that pretends otherwise. A comparison that never recommends the other product is an advertisement, and an advertisement is not something you should make a decision from.
The honest part
TRUE is not available to residents or citizens of the United States, or to people in sanctioned or restricted jurisdictions. Trading perpetual futures carries real risk, including the loss of your entire balance. A stop can fill worse than its level in a fast or gapping market. TRUE is a technology provider, not a broker, an exchange of record, a custodian or a financial adviser, and it never holds your funds. Figures shown in the interface are illustrative examples based on historical data, not guarantees.
Frequently asked questions
Is TRUE a replacement for Cryptohopper?
For some people, yes. If Cryptohopper covers everything you trade, there is no reason to move. TRUE matters when the next thing you want to trade sits outside what Cryptohopper offers, or when you want an agent to trade inside limits you set rather than doing it by hand.
Does TRUE hold my funds?
No. TRUE is non-custodial. You hold your own keys and sign your own transactions, and TRUE does not hold client funds. You sign in with Google, Apple, or by connecting a Phantom or Solflare wallet.
Does TRUE require KYC?
No. There is no KYC to open a TRUE account. TRUE is not available to residents or citizens of the United States, or in sanctioned jurisdictions.
How does the Autopilot agent differ from a trading bot?
A bot executes rules you write on a venue that is not the bot. On TRUE the agent and the exchange are the same product, so the agent executes in your own account under limits you set: a budget, a risk profile and a daily stop. You can pause it at any time, which stops new positions without closing the ones already open.
Where do the claims on this page come from?
Every statement about Cryptohopper on this page comes from https://www.cryptohopper.com, read on 2026-10-30. Claims about TRUE come from truefinance.ai and from the product. If a claim is out of date, write to us and it is corrected.
Can I use TRUE on my phone?
Yes. There is a native iOS app, a native Android app, and a full web app at app.truefinance.ai. It is one account across all three, and the same number reads the same everywhere because it is computed once on the server.
What does it cost to start?
Opening an account is free. You pay trading fees and network fees on what you trade. Deposits can come from Apple Pay, Visa and Mastercard, or USDC sent from a wallet or an exchange, with fiat on-ramps run by third-party partners.
