Send the context with the image
A screenshot is a snapshot, not a live market feed. Include the asset, exchange, timeframe, timestamp and whether the chart shows spot or perpetual prices. Leave the axes and indicator labels visible.
A useful prompt is: “This is a 15-minute SOL spot chart from today at 14:00 UTC. Describe the trend, the recent range and what would invalidate a breakout interpretation. Separate what is visible from what needs current data.”
Ask for observations before conclusions
Start with the sequence of highs and lows, the range, the size of recent candles and visible volume. Ask the AI to distinguish observations from interpretations. “Price rejected this area twice” is an observation; “sellers will defend it again” is a hypothesis.
If the image is cropped or blurry, exact levels may be unreliable. Ask for approximate zones and then confirm prices against the live chart. Do not treat a precisely written number as proof it was read precisely.
Build more than one scenario
Ask what would support continuation and what would suggest failure. For example, a move above a range followed by a return inside it tells a different story from a sustained move with stronger participation.
Then add a holding period. A short-term pullback can occur within a longer uptrend, and a pattern on a five-minute chart does not answer a six-month investment question. Keep the analysis aligned with the decision you are making.
Use TRUE for the follow-up
Upload the screenshot in TRUE and ask follow-up questions about the asset, related news or broader market. Ask for the date and source of any fresh figures so you can distinguish them from the uploaded image.
Before translating the analysis into a trade or agent rule, specify the trigger, amount and exit conditions. A chart explanation can inform a strategy, but an executable instruction needs unambiguous rules. Review the final setup in the app before authorizing it.
