Copy on-chain traders, as one basket

TRUE has three different things called copying, and they are genuinely different products rather than three names for one. This page is about the newest of them: copying on-chain traders. You pick traders from a ranked board, add them to a basket, and one Autopilot runs the whole basket from a single budget split evenly between them. Every position it opens carries the same three limits, the holdings sit in your own wallet on Solana, and you can take a trader out of the basket at any point without touching the rest. It went live on 31 October 2026 and it is one of the five doors in the new Autopilot flow.

The three ways to copy on TRUE, and which one this is

Copying perpetual leaders is the oldest of the three. You pick a leader from the perps leaderboard, fund a separate copy wallet, and your account mirrors their perpetual trades with leverage. It is a leveraged product and it has its own fee, 1 USDC per copied trade when the mirror actually fills. Copying on-chain traders, which is this page, is an Autopilot strategy in the Investing Wallet. There is no leverage anywhere in it. It buys spot positions in your own wallet on Solana, following traders whose on-chain record is visible and ranked. Copying meme traders and whale wallets is the third, and it reaches further: Smart Wallets and the Whales board cover Base, Robinhood Chain and Ethereum as well. It mirrors a wallet's buys into your own spot wallet on that chain. They are worth keeping apart in your head because the risk is not comparable. The first can be liquidated. The second and third cannot, because nothing is borrowed. If somebody tells you they are copying on TRUE, the useful next question is which of the three.

One Autopilot, one budget, split equally

The board ranks around 100 on-chain traders. Open any of them and you get a detail view of what that wallet has actually been doing, because the record is on a public chain and does not depend on anybody's self-reporting. When you find one you want, you add them to a copy basket rather than starting a separate copy for each. That is the part that differs most from what people expect. All the traders you pick live under one Autopilot, drawing on one budget, split evenly between them. Budgets run from 50 to 10,000 USDC, the same range as every other Autopilot. The reason it works this way is that the alternative compounds badly. Five separate copies with five separate budgets is five positions sizing themselves independently, and the total exposure is whatever they happen to add up to on a busy day. One basket with one budget means the amount at risk is the amount you typed, regardless of how many traders are in it or how active they are. This basket also stays separate from the other spot strategies. It does not blend with a savings plan or a theme basket running in the same wallet.

The three limits on every copy

Every position the basket opens carries the same three limits, and they are not optional settings you can forget to configure. A stop at 25 percent. If a copied position falls that far, it closes. You are not relying on the trader you copied to cut it, which matters because you are following their entries and not their judgement about your money. A take profit at 60 percent. If it runs that far, it closes and the gain is realised rather than given back. A maximum hold of 48 hours. Whatever the position is doing, it does not stay open past two days. On-chain trading is fast, and a position inherited from somebody else's thesis gets stale quickly once you are no longer watching the reason they opened it. A push notification fires when a copied trade opens and again when it closes, so the basket is not a thing that quietly happens to your money while you are asleep. You see each decision as it is taken.

What it costs, and where the money sits

There is no setup fee and no performance fee. What you pay is the swap fee on each buy and each sell, exactly as you would pay it making the same trade yourself, plus the network fee for the chain. That is the whole cost. We do not take a share of what the basket makes, and we do not charge the per-trade copy fee that applies to perpetual copying, because this is a different product running on a different rail. The holdings sit in your own wallet on Solana. You signed the transaction that funded the Autopilot and TRUE cannot move what is in there. A trader you copy has no visibility into your wallet and no ability to touch it. They are not managing money for you, and there is no arrangement between you and them. You are reading a public record of what a wallet did and choosing to follow it. That distinction is worth being precise about. Copying is not delegation. Nobody has been given authority over your account, which also means nobody is accountable for the outcome except the person who chose the basket.

Stopping, and what happens to what you hold

You can take a single trader out of the basket and leave the others running. You can pause the Autopilot, which stops it opening anything new. You can stop it entirely. In every case the holdings stay in your wallet. Stopping a copy strategy is not a liquidation and it does not sell what you own into whatever price happens to exist at that moment. The positions remain yours to close when you decide to, from the wallet they are already sitting in. Two honest limits to set against all of this. You are not getting the trader's exact fill, because your order is a different order placed at a different moment, and on fast-moving on-chain positions that gap can be real. And a ranked board is a measurement of what already happened. It is not a forecast. A trader who ranked well last month is a trader who ranked well last month, and the ranking makes no claim beyond that.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost to copy on-chain traders?

The swap fee on each buy and each sell, plus the network fee for the chain. There is no setup fee and no performance fee, and the 1 USDC per trade copy fee does not apply here because that one belongs to perpetual copying.

Can I copy several traders at once?

Yes, and that is how it is designed. Every trader you add goes into one basket under one Autopilot, sharing a single budget split evenly between them, rather than running as separate copies.

What stops a copied position going badly wrong?

Every position carries a 25 percent stop, a 60 percent take profit and a maximum hold of 48 hours. All three apply automatically to every copy the basket opens.

Is copying on-chain traders leveraged?

No. It runs in the Investing Wallet, which has no leverage at all, so a position cannot be liquidated. Copying perpetual leaders is a different product and that one is leveraged.

What happens to my holdings if I stop copying?

They stay in your own wallet on Solana. Stopping ends new copies and does not sell anything you already hold.

Can a trader I copy see or move my money?

No. The holdings are in your own wallet, you signed for them, and the trader has no visibility into it and no access. You are following a public on-chain record, not giving anyone authority over your account.
